  1. Open the Instagram app on your mobile device or go to Instagram.com on your computer.
  2. Log in to your account if you haven't already.
  3. Go to the Delete Your Account page by clicking this link: https://www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/
  4. Select a reason for deleting your account from the dropdown menu.
  5. Re-enter your password when prompted to confirm that you want to delete the account.
  6. Solve the CAPTCHA by entering the characters displayed in the image.
  7. Click or tap Permanently delete my account.
  8. You will be asked to enter your account username and password for the final confirmation.
  9. Click or tap OK.

Please keep in mind that once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored, so be sure that you want to delete it permanently before proceeding. Also, it may take up to 14 days for the account and all of its content to be deleted from the Instagram servers.
